.From the Bakersfield Californian: Mary Ann Lofthouse (Gallacher), 1950 — 1989

Funeral services will be held Monday at 10 a.m. in the Mish Funeral Home for Mary Ann Lofthouse, 38, who died April 27th, 1989 in Long Beach after a long illness. Cremation will follow services in the Mish Funeral Home Crematorium and her ashes will be buried at a later date.

Mary Ann was a native of Bakersfield and had lived here most of her life and the last 10 years in Long Beach.

She attended local public schools and graduated from Bakersfield High School in the Class of 1968.

She played in the South High Band and the Bakersfield College Band. She was a phlebotomist for over 10 years working in the medical field with various medical groups.

She is survived by her loving parents, Vaden G. and Jennie Gallacher of Bakersfield; devoted sister, Patricia Olson of Bakersfield; niece, Roberta Olson of Bakersfield; and many cousins and friends.
