In Memory

Ronnie Little

Ronnie Little

From the Bakersfield Californian: Ronald Max Little

Ronald Max Little, 43 passed away August 8 (1994)in Bakersfield.

As a man walks through this life, he may leave tiny footprints or none at all. Ron was a good man; his footprints can't be measured.  His cup always “runneth over" for the people he loved. His living legacy will be the love of the mountains and animals that he passed down to the kids. He will see through their eyes now.

Ron leaves behind a loving wife, Barbara; two daughters; five grandchildren; parents; a brother; a sister; aunts; uncles; nieces; nephew; and many friends.  He will be deeply missed.

Ron graduated from South High School in 1968. He served in the United States Army for nine years.  Ron had been business partners with his brother, Larry since 1979.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara Little of 15 years; daughters, Heather Pipkins and Nikkie Little; son-in-law, Darin Pipkins, all of Las Vegas; stepsons, Sheldon and Chad Lyday; mother and stepfather, Rae Ellen and Barry Platt; father, Don Little; brother, Larry Little and wife Shelly; sister, Donna and husband Marc Sitrin of New York; four grandsons and one granddaughter; and many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

Ron will especially be remembered for the special love he had for his grandchildren. They made him very happy and were a great source of pleasure. Nothing pleased him more than being with them.

I am so sorry to hear of Ronnie's passing. I guess I've known him since about 3rd grade, when we were both at Frank West Elem.
