Dan McLean

Daniel William McLean was born in February, 1950 in Bakersfield. He died of cancer in Barstow in 1995.

During his school years he participated in many activities, including the Lettermen, California Scholarship Federation, student council, and was on the 1968 Merrimac staff. Though somewhat undersized, Dan was a starter on the varsity football team his senior year, playing right guard on the offensive line.

Our research shows that he was associated with the railroad workers pension fund, so we believe that he was an active, or former employee of the railroad system.
