Gena and I had reconnected several years ago and she was excited about their move to St George, Utah. Sadly, she was to pass over the Christmas Holidays' while on a mini vacation to a ski resort. Gena had not been feeling well and had been under some stress due to her blood pressure being too high and the inability to stableize it. If I remember correctly, her medication's were in the process of being adjusted when she passed away. Gena was a breath of fresh air, she was such a happy soul who gave everyone she came in contact with joy and an overabundance of love.

I too had reconnected with Gena via Classmates. She was so excited to come to the 50th. It is so sad that she won't be there. I know she was so looking forward to seeing "old" friends again.

Genaand I were good friends growing up. I too remember her being happy and fun to be with. I lost contact with her after high school because I went away to college, married and lived in Utah for 10 years. I wish I could have seen her before she passes. It seems we both moved to St. George in 2015. So sad to hear this news.
