In Memory

William (Willie) Talluto

William (Willie) Talluto

Willie Talluto

He had signed up for the 50th Reunion but later indicated that he would not be able to attend.

It turns out that he learned he had pancreatic cancer just prior to our event.

I attempted several times to contact him through email and phone.  He did not respond.

Pancreatic cancer is basically inoperable.  He lasted about 10 months trying to fight this disease, but finally lost his battle.

I recall him as a dedicated musician and a strong supporter of John Briscoe, our talented band director.  I believe that he was also the president of the Rebel Band his senior year.

I was so sad to here of Willie's passing, the last time we spoke on our South High '68 site just after he posted about his illness. I remember him as such a sweet guy with a lot of talent. I was in Choir and he in Band. Willie was always pleasant fellow & had a wonderful sense of humor. Rest In Peace my Friend, you will be missed by all who knew you.
My Condolences to his family & friends !
