(1991) All friends and family of Michael Dennis Bush are invited to attend in a time of Remembrance and Celebration in his honor at the Sequoia Room of the Best Western Inn on Pierce Road Tuesday, Nov.12, 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. with Formal Services at 6 p.m.
Michael was born to Joel & Irene Bush Jan. 29, 1949 in Pollaski, New York.
He was a 1968 graduate of South High and attended Bakersfield Jr. College and in 1970 received a degree in accounting and book-keeping from 4-C's College in Bakersfield.
Michael has been employed in the motel business for 18 years and the past 7 years has been the manager of the Best Western Inn in Bakersfield.
He is survived by Alice Hotellinger and Larry Zell of Bakersfield.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Peters Funeral Home, Shafter.

Mike was a good friend. I remember when he was dating Shirly McWhinney. I think they married soon after graduation. I've wondered about him over the years.
