Services will be held in the Greenlawn Southwest Memorial Chapel, Fwy 99 and Panama Lane, Wednesday, May 26, at 10:00 a.m. for Joe Wayne Young, Jr., 709 Bell Ave., who died May 22 in Bakersfield. The Rev. Henry Buzinski will officiate. Interment will be in Greenlawn Southwest Cemetery. Mr. Young was a native of Bakersfield and had resided here all his life. He had been a welder for 10 years and was last employed with Ed Kottle as an oilfield welder. Survivors include his wife, Teresa Young; a son, Joe Wayne Young, Jr.; a daughter, Lori Young; three sisters, Loretta Ward, Janet Young, and Janice Young; two brothers, Bruce D. Young, and Michael V. Young; his mother, Mrs. Carrie Quinn; his father, Vernon Young, all of Bakersfield. Casketbearers will be Jerry Esposito, David Stewart, David Esposito, Darell Cambell, Rick Gunther, and Paul Bibb.
